Minecraft Gets Lightyear DLC
A new round of Minecraft DLC has just been released, bringing Buzz Lightyear into the game and changing your experience. The "Lightyear" DLC includes Buzz Lightyear-themed character skins and a task packages.
The DLC's task packages recreates the Lightyear movie in Minecraft, giving players control over Buzz Lightyear and several key characters from the movie. Five missions will be completed across mines, swamps and alien planets, piloting their own spaceships and using a variety of iconic gadgets and weapons to defeat bosses.
As expected, the goal is to save the galaxy from Zurg's evil plans, although he looks slightly different than he did in the Lightyear.
The DLC is available for the Minecraft Bedrock Edition, and since the merger of the Bedrock and Java Editions, now if you purchase Minecraft, you will get both versions.
The DLC comes shortly after Microsoft released the Minecraft Wilderness expansion, which adds some new features and even allows you to turn Minecraft into a survival horror game.
